My partner and I recently secured a new 1-bed through working with Hotblack Desiato. We were actively looking for places and attending viewings for about 6 weeks before we found this place.

The agent, Gino, was very helpful in replying to our emails, answering questions, and providing advice throughout this process.

In particular, we were very impressed with the clear inventory provided upfront, including photos and details of all potential issues (small repairs, chipped paint, etc.), which was definitely a refreshing change compared with our experiences elsewhere.

We had a great experience with our agent Diriye, who made the process of renting our new flat in Highbury very smooth and transparent. Diriye was remarkably responsive throughout the entire process and very accommodating with some of our more specific queries.

On a more general note the renting process with Hotblack Desiato was very effective and straightforward. In particular there is a great choice and use of the digital tools available today to help facilitate things like referencing, deposit payment or contract signing.

Our estate agent was Gino Gerardo, who was professional as well as nice and caring! He first gave us good recommandations in the area, then accompanied us through the process without pressuring us too much, unlike most agents, and finally helped us have our extra contract requests accepted by the landlord. It all went very smoothly, a rare thing in London’s estate market – so 5 stars!

Bought a house that was on with Hotblack recently. The agent, Mark was a breath of fresh air compared to a lot of agents I’ve dealt with. Super honest and transparent, always available to give impartial advice on the process and best way to move forward. We felt we were in safe hands throughout and managed to complete in 6 weeks from OA. Really couldn’t reccomend these guys any more.

We have just bought a flat through Hotblack Desiato, and could not be happier with the way they handled our purchase. Stuart Shiers, our agent, was very responsive to calls and emails, and went above and beyond to answer our queries and resolve issues with the seller. He and others at the company were helpful and collaborative when it came to viewings and information regarding the flat.

Having rented across London for the past 6 years, this is the first time I’ve felt compelled to leave a review for a positive reason. My girlfriend and I have recently decided to move in together and came across a listing we liked the look of managed by Hotblack Desiato. We’ve worked with Maya and Nina throughout the process and it’s been by far and away the most simple transaction I’ve completed. They made time for our; viewing, second viewing and a final trip for measuring up. Always on time and really pleasant. The right to rent checks and deposit were done quickly and professionally with no hiccups along the way. And their follow up since moving in has been superb.

Can’t recommend Hotblack Desiato highly enough.
