Camden Team

Adding up the years the sales team have been working within the industry, and in the local area, quite remarkably this totals in excess of 80 years’…do the sums and you’ll see that we offer experience and maturity that many of our competitors would struggle to match

Hotblack Desiato has been home for the past 19 years out of the 29 years of being an Estate Agent. Having worked in Camden for so long my knowledge of the local area and the cross section of people who reside here is extensive. Everyday throws up something different, whether it is the changes in the economic climate, people wanting honest advise about their property, holding their hands to their next move or where is the nearest nail bar. When I am not at work, I enjoy my holidays in the sun with my family, watching my grandchildren growing, cooking and entertaining.

I moved to London at the age of 18 (originally from Poland) and I have never looked back. I’ve been here for over 12 years now and I consider it to be my home. A year volunteering for the Met Police and achieving my personal liquor license may not seem like the typical background of an estate agent, however , I have found that these experiences have provided me with a blend of confidence and diligence that compliments my position at Hotblack Desiato well. I first joined the Camden branch back in 2011 and I can honestly say that during my time with Hotblacks I had a pleasure of working in all the offices, whether it was covering colleagues annual leave or on a more permanent basis. Last year I decided to leave the property world and explore other carrier paths but soon realised I missed lettings so here I am, back in Camden, where it all started. I really look forward to furthering my career as a lettings manager and all the challenges that will come with it.

I was born and raised in North London, where I remained through to university. After graduating in 2003, I started in residential lettings with Hotblack Desiato, having spells at both our Upper Street and Parkway branches. I took some time out to enjoy a twelve year career in a very different industry, before once again hearing the siren call of residential lettings. Having returned to the Hotblack Desiato family, I am loving being based back in Camden. I am a family man first and foremost, who enjoys playing various sports, or finding new restaurants and drinking holes around Camden. Once a year I organise a trek for friends and colleagues. This year we are heading to Musala in Bulgaria, raising sponsorship to purchase defibrillators for public access buildings. I am always happy to help, so if you are looking for a property in the area, please do come in and say hello, and I will do my best to find you your perfect home.”

I have lived in Camden for about 18 years now. I also lived in Spain for almost a year with some gypsies…that was an experience. I can speak a bit of Spanish and Indian, and I’m currently learning Lebanese. I’ve been working in property for 10 years and joined Hotblacks property management team about a year ago. Prior to that, I trained as an IT technician – which involved everything from building computers from scratch to teaching adults how to use them. I also studied Cisco CCNA, but got a bit fed up with it all and wanted to try something else. In my spare time I play for a local pool team – we won the league last season and have now moved up to Division One!! I also like camping, sea fishing and cooking. I am by nature a very caring and helpful person. I really enjoy working at Hotblacks, they are a lovely bunch.
