A stunning and well situated one bedroom apartment in the heart of Highbury

FULL DESCRIPTION This smart and recently created one bedroom flat is situated on the quiet Southerly section of Aberdeen Road adjacent to Aberdeen Park. Occupying the first floor of this recently converted Victorian family home, the apartment is bright and airy throughout.

The living room has a kitchen area fitted to the side, making the most of every bit of available space. To the rear of the property is the bedroom, with bathroom leading off via a small staircase. The flat is presented to a very high standard throughout with ceramic bricks, plenty of period features and everything recently done.
SITUATION This apartment is located just past the gates from Aberdeen Park, so a pleasant walk from both Canonbury and Highbury and Islington stations. Islington's trendy Upper Street is within walking distance also, as is Stoke Newington, Clissold Park and the range of shops and delis on Highbury Barn
INSIDE GUIDE - THE OWNER'S THOUGHTS I have lived in this property for most of my life, firstly growing up in it when it was a family house and latterly, for the past two years, in its current incarnation of a perfectly formed light and bright flat, lovingly converted by my architect father.
The high ceilings and generous windows are thanks to the Victorians, who specifically included these only on the first floors of houses to use as the entertaining space, and I love the sense of light and space this brings.
My favourite room is the bathroom. It is flooded with natural light thanks to its two windows (with one installed on the stairwell specifically) and has a lovely secluded and peaceful feel, overlooking the tropical plants in the garden below. Little details, like underfloor heating, an extra-large bath and heated mirrors to prevent steam, also add a touch of luxury, making it the perfect space to indulge in long relaxing baths.
